Consolidated Industrial Gases, Inc. (CIGI) and Southern Industrial Gases Phils., Inc. (SIG) are members of The Linde Group and the leading industrial gases companies in the Philippines. Corporate Heritage
CIGI was formed in 1980 while SIG was incorporated in 1993, both as a joint venture of The BOC Group, and a host of Filipino partners.
In 1999, The BOC Group acquired CIGI and SIG. In September 2006, BOC and Linde merged to become The Linde Group, the largest and most global gases company in the world. This move further strengthens the capabilities of CIGI and SIG in providing our customers world-class products and services. As part of The Linde Group, CIGI and SIG now have unmatched access to leading technologies and gas applications worldwide.
Leading in the Philippines
CIGI and SIG are the leading industrial and gases suppliers in the Philippines. With the Apalit and Sta. Rosa ASU plants in Luzon, CIGI is able to provide highly reliable supply solutions to our customers. SIG is also
investing in a new ASU plant in Cebu to support the requirements for liquid gases of the local industries in Visayas and Mindanao. Backed by Linde Engineering technology, both companies also have the capability to provide efficient onsite plant solutions to our customers.
CIGI also has the most advanced special gases laboratory and the only medical hub facility in the country. Aside from gases and gas facilities, CIGI and SIG’s portfolio now includes refrigerants, gas equipment, welding and safety products sold at the Gas and Gear Centers nationwide.
